By accessing or using the Letters from The Ledford House website (the "Website") and any products, subscriptions, or services offered through it (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Website or Services.

Letters from The Ledford House is an episodic mail and digital subscription delivering printed chapters, letters, recipes, and related material to subscribers. The Services include the Website, the mail subscription, the digital subscription, and any correspondence associated with them. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide for the recurring fees described at the time of purchase. Mail and digital subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and no refunds are issued for partial periods unless required by law.

Prices and plans may change. Any change applies to future billing cycles and will be communicated in advance. If a payment fails, we may suspend the Services until payment is received.

Mail subscriptions are sent through the postal service. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the postal service or by an incorrect address you provide. Please keep your shipping address current. We will replace a mailing lost in transit on request, at our discretion, for subscribers within the United States.

All content delivered through the Services, including chapters, letters, recipes, postcards, artwork, and text on the Website, is owned by Carrie Green / The Ledford House and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any part of the Services without our written permission. A single copy may be made for personal, noncommercial use only.

You agree not to use the Website or Services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair them. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account or payment credentials you use.

The Services may integrate with third-party platforms for payments, email delivery, and analytics. We are not responsible for the practices or content of those third parties, and their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carrie Green / The Ledford House and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Website or Services after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved in the courts located in South Carolina.
