Nobody Got Her Name

has catered every funeral in Rosemont Landing for twenty years and never once run short. 's was going to be the big one. Four ex-wives, all coming, and every one of them sure she was the one he really loved.

It went fine. Everybody behaved.

Then a woman in a blue dress walked in, fixed a plate exactly the way Sonny liked it, and cried like she meant it. She left before the eulogies. She didn't sign the book.

Nobody knew her.

By Thursday, the ex-wives had a legal pad and a plan. They'd also decided Faye was helping.
